Estiffanugla is still what we consider very green. However, for a draft-type jack, he has demonstrated impressive athletic abilities. His ground skills include: walk, trot and lope in the round pen; he backs, turns on the forehand, turns on the hindquarters, and sidepasses in both directions. He has been ground driven, but not yet hitched to the cart. Estiffanugla is progressing nicely in his transitions to doing all these maneuvers under saddle. | |||||
